Football fans normally don’t wish to see their club bottom of the league, but when it comes to this particular division there are few complaints for missing out on top spot.

The results of the 2014 Price of Football survey were revealed today, and showed the district’s senior clubs occupying mid-table when it comes to expenses like match ticket prices.

But the survey has revealed that Falkirk fans pay the most for replica shirts when compared to their Championship rivals, while Stenhousemuir supporters spend more on a pie at Ochilview than at any other League One ground - but the Warriors programme is the cheapest in the division at £1.50.

Shire fans, meanwhile, enjoy among the cheapest season ticket costs in the UK, with a season book costing just £130. Only Peterhead and Annan offer cheaper, at £120 and £90.

Here’s how Falkirk, Stenhousemuir and East Stirlingshire rate. For comparison, we’ve included the most expensive and cheapest examples from their respective leagues.
