East Stirlingshire will kick off the 2015-16 league campaign with a home match against East Fife.

The SPFL league fixtures were revealed today for all four leagues in Scotland and the Shire’s season schedule has been mapped out.

Other notable fixtures include a Stirlingshire derby now neighbours Stirling Albion have dropped to League Two.

The Bainsford-based side got off to a disappointing start last term before putting a string of results together to flirt with the play-offs and they’ll be hoping for better with opening fixtures including a trip to Elgin where they grabbed a dramatic mid-week victiry in the last seconds last season.

Clyde new boys Michael Bolochoweckyj and Steven Brisbane will meet their former club on August 29 at Broadwood before the Shire play neighbours Stirling Albion on September 5.

Craig Tully’s side round off the season with a trip to New Bayview, Methil to play Gary Naysmith’s East Fife again.
