Stenhousemuir travel to Methil on Saturday to take on an East Fife side that will be looking to improve on their recent miserable league form.

Fifers boss Willie Aitchison resigned last Monday following a poor run of results, with the Bayview club languising in nine place in League One for most of the season.

Gary Naysmith has now taken temporary charge and will be in the dugout when the Warriors come calling.

‘Muir boss Martyn Corrigan will welcome David Rowson back to the squad for the trip across the Forth, and Sean Lynch is also fit despite being substituted in last weekend’s 3-0 cup win against Fraserburgh.

Corrigan told Heraldsport: “East Fife held us to a draw last time we played them, and now their players will be wanting to impress their new boss.

“We’ll need to be at our best if we want to take the three points.”

Meawnwhile, Darren Smith and Sean Higgins have both resumed light training, but will not make the Stenhousemuir squad on Saturday.
