Falkirk winger Jack Compton has joined Bradford City on loan.

Steven Pressley revealed in Heraldsport this week that the winger had returned to Scotland despite impressing on his trial at the Bantams.

However, discussions continued and the winger will make a return to Valley Parade after a loan deal until January 3 was sealed this afternoon.

Compton has two years remaining on his Falkirk contract.

The deal has little effect on Pressley’s plans for tomorrow’s match with Albion Rovers as the former West Brom and Weston Super Mare player had fallen out of favour with the boss following a friendly match in Peterhead.

Stephen Kingsley and Blair Alston are major doubts for the Communities League Cup match in Coatbridge.

Kick off at Cliftonhill is 3 p.m.
