FALKIRK’S visit to Partick Thistle has been postponed once again.
Heavy overnight rain and more during Tuesday made the Firhill pitch unplayable.
The turf - which is shared between the football club and rugby club Glasgow Warriors - has borne the brunt of the harsh winter and dual use.
The heavily sanded pitch hadn’t recovered sufficiently from the weekend to be given the go-ahead.
The match, rescheduled from February 12, will now take place on April 12, a week later than planned.
Kick-off is the same at 7.45 p.m.
The respite gives Falkirk time for Thomas Scobbie to recuperate, but the postponement means Brian McLean’s suspension will come into force on Saturday and he will miss the home match with none other than Partick Thistle.
