Pressley eyes a loan move

Waiting for Video...

There could be a new face among Falkirk’s ranks by the time they play Raith Rovers next Saturday.

David Weatherston has joined Sean Higgins and Craig Sibbald on the injury list and The Falkirk Herald understands Steven Pressley is looking at the emergency loan market in the SPL to back-up his squad.

However, he is searching under condition that the deal will come at little or no expense to Falkirk.

Options were assessed yesterday and will continue over the weekend - which remains clear despite an offer from Dunfermline to utilise the free Saturday by playing another derby match between the sides.

The last one saw the sides draw 2-2 and Falkirk field Robbie Neislon as a trialist.

The defender broke his cheekbone in the closing stages of the game, and remains in and around the Bairns camp, and he is another Pressley is keen to recruit - but only if the club can find the money.
