Football fans often enjoy a pie at half-time and now Falkirk fans can have double after the club revealed new additions to the club membership scheme.

It ties in local businesses to money-saving deals for club season ticket holders.

Pub chain Wetherspoons branch at Carron Works has recently come on board offering 20 per cent off food, while Greggs shops in the Falkirk area will give Bairns two scoth pies for the price of one.

Other new additions joining the likes of Frankie and Benny’s, Pizza Hut, JW Bennie Bathrooms and D’yoga in supporting the Bairns are The Shore who slice a fifth off all dining bills.

Roy Duncan Carpets in Grangemouth will also take 10 pc off all ordered carpets.

Sharon McGuire of the club’s marketing team told The Falkirk Herald: “The membership scheme has been running for several years now and we are improving and adding to it each year.

“Not only do fans have a guaranteed seat at each home league game, this is us giving them a little bit more value to their season ticket, and giving something back for their much-valued loyalty and support.”
