An end to Falkirk’s long-running dispute with Bradford City is in sight.
The Yorkshire club have assessed the findings from FIFA and submitted an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport before last week’s deadline.
They are questioning Falkirk’s claim to training compensation for Mark Stewart who moved to the Bantams two years ago.
FIFA sided with the Bairns and awarded the club £213,000 earlier this year.
Cases can take between three and six months to be heard at the Lausanne court.
The club had 10 days to appeal the February ruling, but a delay in FIFA supplying documentation behind the £213,000 decision created the latest delay in the saga.
