Bairns make their first summer signing

Steven Pressley has added the first new signing of his summer re-building process.

Ryan McGeever has signed from Queen’s Park.

The 6’ 4’’ youngster plays at centre-back and is seen as a prospect for the future.

McGeever has captained Scotland’s schoolboys and will join the Bairns this summer when he completes his exams at Holyrood High school.

“He’s one for the future,” the Bairns boss told The Falkirk Herald. “We look forward to working with him though - he has a lot of strength and conditioning work to be done because like many of our teenage players he’s still growing.

“But we think there’s a player with big potential there.”
