Falkirk’s players have returned to Stirling University to prepare for season 2012-13

Steven Pressley and coaches Stevie Crawfiord and Neil Macfarlane have been putting the players through their paces.

A number of trialists have joined the Bairns for the first week with more expected to join up next week.

Steven Pressley told The Falkirk Herald he is “delighted” with the players’ effort and commitment so far.

Among the squad are new signings Chris Smith, Johnny Flynn and Andy Haworth who spoke to Sports Editor David Oliver and posed for photographs by chief photographer Michael Gillen.

Read the new trio’s comments from the first week of hard graft and what lies ahead of them, in The Falkirk Herald this week.
