A comprehensive win for the undefeated Falkirk side in Ayr makes this Saturday’s match against the Edinburgh Kings at the Mariner a title opportunity.

If Fury extend their season to 17-0 with a win over the capital side the Division 1 Championship – the elite league of Scottish Junior Mens basketball will be theirs.

With standout players Eddy Leginus and Fraser Malcolm in excellent form - Leginus with 21 pts, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals, the first year junior from Lithuania had an excellent game. Malcolm seeking a US Scholarship for next season had 18 points and 8 boards.

A win in the west was never in doubt as Fury as a team racked up 42 boards, were an imprtessive 79% from the line with a massive 19 steals. Former Scotland International Ali McDermid continued to impress with 14 points and 15-year old cadet Daniel Tran had a solid 10 point performance.

Once again it was also a real team effort from coaches Keith Bunyan and Gerg Foussas ‘s side.
