They had to come back from behind but Clark Eriksson Fury ensured their title party ended on the right note.
They were presented with their league trophy by Falkirk Provost Pat Reid ahead of the final league match of the season at the Mariner with sponsors Robert Marshall and Clark Eriksson’s Jim Toner watching on.
Edinburgh Kings, the club’s old rivals, were the visitors and gave the home side a real fright by leading at the break.
But Fury rallied in the second half to come-back and win - just as they did to take the league title in the corresponding end of season fixture with the Kings last season.
A 21-10 third quarter sparked by back to back baskets by Scott Russell and back to back threes by captain Keith Bunyan took Fury clear for good.
The 61-54 win ensured the title party was in full swing and Fury ended the league season with an impeccable win record in league and cup competitions ahead of the final tournament of the season - the Scottish play-offs.
Fury’s Junior Men, coached by senior men stalwarts Greg Foussas and Keith Bunyan, were also celebrating a league win this weekend. See The Falkirk Herald and www.falkirkherald.co.uk this week for more.
