IT’S taking place 230 miles away but a match on Sunday will be keenly watched by Falkirk football fans.
Huddersfield Town meet Peterborough United in the League One play-off final at Old Trafford for entry into the nPower Championship.
If Huddersfield, including former Falkirk protege Scott Arfield, are to win and gain promotion to the Championship - the Bairns are due a £50,000 windfall from last summer’s transfer.
However, although the cash would be welcomed, it would divert towards reducing the deficit in the Bairns’ coffers - and not into Steven Pressley’s transfer kitty.
Arfield moved last summer for a club record deal in the region of £400,000 with add-ons.
He could meet up with former mentor at the club’s Academy, Ross Wilson, who takes up a role with Championship side Watford next month.
