The Sunnysiders put the bottom of the table side to the sword and claimed an impressive ELEVEN tries while the Ayrshire club could only reply with a penalty.

Taking advantage of good underfoot conditions, and with the pitch in remarkable shape considering the preceding weather outlook, Falkirk hit the ground running.

They made their intentions clear with a foraging surge by the forwards, which forced the visitors deep into their 22.

Seizing the opportunity in the first minute, prop David Jamieson charged for the line.

He was checked back, but the three-quarters transferred to full-back Chris Harris who picked his intruding angle to perfection for the opening unconverted try.
