WITH four training sessions already under their belts, Dunipace Juniors face their first pre-season match this Saturday when they travel to take on Livingston United at Station Park.
Boss Derek Barron retains the bulk of last season's squad although Greig Culbert will be allowed to leave Westfield.

Meanwhile, injury has forced Craig McKinlay to hang up his boots but the Dunipace stalwart will remain at Westfield in a coaching
capacity.

There is better news for other long time injury victim Keiron McIlduff, though. He is back in light training but won't be rushed back into action.

Looking forward to the new campaign, manager Barron has added three new players in the shape of Paul O'Brien and Martin Wright who have been signed from Stein's Juveniles.

They are joined by John McPhail, who was with Plean Amateurs last season.

One thing is for certain, Barron's side won't lack match fitness when the new season kicks off, as Dunipace are scheduled to play no less than SEVEN games (including their own annual invitation tournament)
before the action gets underway on Wednesday, August 6.

No doubt, many of these games will be used with an eye to adding to the Dunipace squad and here is a full list of their pre-season fixtures (£3 admission to the six games played at Westfield):

- Saturday, July 19
Livingston v Dunipace Juniors (2 p.m.)
- Thursday, July 24
Dunipace v Stein's under-21s
- Saturday, July 26
Dunipace Invitation Tournament
First semi-final: Dunipace Juniors v Yoker (12.45 p.m.)
Second semi-final: Bo'ness United v Carnoustie Panmure (3.30 p.m.)
- Sunday, July 27
Dunipace Invitation Tournament
Third/fourth play-off (12.45 p.m.)
Final (3.30 p.m.)
- Tuesday, July 29
Dunipace Juniors v Cumnock (7.15 p.m.)
- Thursday, July 31
Dunipace Juniors v Linlithgow Rose (7 p.m.)
- Saturday, August 2
Dunipace Juniors v Alloa X1 (1 p.m.)

- DESPITE their hectic pre-season schedule Dunipace Juniors will turn out for a worthwhile fund- raising event this Sunday (20th) when they take on a Denny/Dunipace select captained by Linlithgow Rose's Danny Smith side at Westfield.

Admission is just £2, with all cash going straight to the Saint John Ogilvie Handicap Club.

It's a terrific chance for Denny and Dunipace folk, or anyone else for that matter, to meet up with some old pals, both on and off the pitch, as well as donating to a terrific cause.

Kick off is 2 p.m. and a good turn out is hoped for.

SATURDAY will see new boss Greg Denham's first game in charge of Camelon Juniors when the Mariners travel to take on Largs Thistle in a challenge match at Inverclyde Sports Centre (2 p.m.). A bus will leave the social club at 11.30 a.m.
