SCOTLAND made it three wins on the trot at the Bank of Scotland Cup in Grangemouth on Tuesday night.
The host nation won nine of the 12 events against Wales, Ireland, a US junior team and a Bank of Scotland Development side, to cap of an outstanding performance at a grey Grangemouth Sports Stadium.

Many of the spectators were there to see the special guest athletes and unsurprisingly one of the loudest cheers of the night came as World, Olympic and European heptathlon champion Carolina Kluft took to the stage.

In the end, the Swedish superstar was disappointed with her performance, jumping 6.19m for victory.

European Cup 3000m champion Andy Baddeley also guested in the men's 800m, but the Olympic hopeful was beaten into second place by Joe Thomas of Wales.

In the 'Falkirk's fasted kid race', Taylor Nimmo from Hallglen crossed the line first for the boys while Nicola Milne triumphed in the girls' race.

Overall results: Scotland 57, USA Juniors 37, BOS Development Team 31, Ireland 30 and Wales 22.
