Frankie Boyle sets a string of new dates for his 2013 UK tour
Advertorial Feature
The straight talking Scot and TV funny man, Frankie Boyle kicked off his long awaited UK tour last month. The comedian, who has found himself at the centre of a number of Twitter rows in recent months including his dolphin face jibe aimed at GB athlete Rebecca Adlington - is said to incredibly excited about the gigs.
In recent years, Boyle has been a popular face on TV shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, You Have Been Watching and Never Mind the Buzzcocks where he was a team captain in place of Phil Jupitus, as well as a guest host for an episode.
The show titled The Last Days of Sodom, kicked off on 21 July in Aberdeen and is set to close in Dublin on December 4th. Fans of the controversial comic also have a further 52 opportunities to see him at venues all over the UK and tickets are available at Stubhub - a website from the talented guys at eBay. Here, buyers and sellers come together to trade tickets for popular concerts and shows throughout the United Kingdom. Youll find seats from as little as 15 (at the Plymouth Pavilions). Other Stubhub tickets range from 35 at Kings Theatre Glasgow where his show is set to run for four nights, or as much as 75 at some of the nations premier venues like the New Theatre Oxford where the gig will run for just two shows.
Sources close to Frankie have alluded to the fact that the tour may be the last opportunity to see him do what he does the best. He has found himself the target of the media of late most recently for tax evasion but more famously for his close to the bone and often offensive gags that he often uses on his live shows. He has made little secret of his desire to retire from comedy at 40. And currently aged 39, its likely that Frankie will pull out all the stops for this one.
And if his last live UK tour was anything to go by, were in for a treat. It ran over for 40 dates during 2010 and was, in typical controversial fashion, titled I would Happily Punch Every One Of you in the Face. True to form, he invoked a number of angry reactions with controversial jokes.
Lets see what Frankie has to offer this time around!
