Muiravonside Church

Last Sunday, Morning Service in Muiravonside Parish Church was conducted by the Minister the Rev. Louise McClements. During the Intimations a warm welcome was given to Mrs Jacqueline Dignan, our Organist for the Service. During the Service the Sacrament of Baptism took place, when Lexi, infant daughter of Mark and Kirsty Sneddon and little sister to Miley was welcomed into the Church family. This was a happy occasion and the congregation was swelled by the attendance of the friends and family of Mark and Kirsty. This Sunday, Morning Service in Muiravonside Parish Church will commence at the usual time of 11.30am and will be conducted by the Minister the Rev. Louise McClements. There will be a Memorial Service for the late Sandra McCallion, who was the Activities Co-ordinator at Haining Nursing Home, on Tuesday, August 11 at 2pm. This is for residents and staff who were unable to attend her funeral. Representatives from both our Churches will be taking part in the Service. The Falkirk Food Bank and the Falkirk Homeless project is still ongoing and there is a box in the vestibule to collect any donations for these causes. If anyone is interested in receiving a copy of the Morning Service, please see Jackie Napier after the Service. The Banner Group restarts this Friday, August 7 August at 3pm in Shieldhill Church Hall.
