Major road resurfacing work will take place this weekend on the northbound M9 between junction 8 at Hill of Kinnaird and junction 9 at Bannockburn.
The £200,000 refurbishment begins on Friday with the stretch of road closing from 8 p.m. and re-opening on Monday at 6 a.m.
A contra-flow will be in place with one lane in operation for each direction of traffic and a speed limit of 40mph will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Ian Stewart, of BEAR Scotland, said: “These works are being carried out over the weekend, when traffic flows are reduced, to minimise delays to motorists.”
