A diversion will be in place at a busy motorway junction as the road will be closed for resurfacing.
Junction 7 on the northbound M876/M9 at Kinnaird House will be closed from 8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) until 6 a.m. on Monday.
The diversion for traffic will be west on the M9/M876 to Jnuction 2 (Glenbervie) and directed to exit the motorway and rejoin eastbound on the M876.
From Junction 2 traffic will return east on the M876/M9 to Junction 7.
The slip road is used by 10,000 vehicles a day.
Transport Scotland say the £120,000 work is necessary for the section to operate for years to come.
Ian Stewart of BEAR Scotland said: “These works are being carried out over a weekend when traffic flows are reduced to minimise delays to motorists.
“We would, however, encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance where possible.”
