The Falkirk Herald is urging its readers to Walk the Walk for Maggie’s!

A £3 million grant has already been pledged to build a Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre, providing practical advice and emotional support for people affected by the disease, close to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.

The cash will come from Walk the Walk, the breast cancer charity which organises MoonWalks in Edinburgh, London and Iceland.

As a ‘thank you’, The Falkirk Herald wants readers to sign up and join them at this year’s MoonWalk Edinburgh on Saturday, June 9.

The target is 100 walkers, making it the largest ever team to take part.

Entering The MoonWalk Edinburgh 2012 and signing up for The Falkirk Herald team couldn’t be simpler.

Just follow this link - MoonWalk Edinburgh 2012 - to get full details of what to do.

Alternatively, entry forms are available from our offices in Manor Street, Falkirk, and Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth.

Remember to select whether you plan to do the Full Moon (26.2 miles) or Half Moon (13.1 miles).
