Three appliances were in attendance leaving and returning from the scene apparently ferrying water from the mains.

It is thought the fire may have been started deliberately.

The farm was the subject of a similar incident two years ago.

In May 2014, a hay bale was deliberately set ablaze at a farm in Maddiston.
