VIDEO: Countdown to Christmas - Falkirk Caledonia Choir sing ‘Ding Dong’

The Falkirk Herald’s Countdown to Christmas is already on song thanks to Falkirk Caledonia Choir.

We’re aiming to carry a video of a local group singing a popular Christmas Carol from December 1 right through to the big day.

And the choir rose to the challenge expertly with ‘Ding Dong’, conducted by David Malloch and featuring Mhorag Malloch on the piano.

The video was shot during a rehearsal for the annual ‘A Bairn’s Christmas’ carol concert in Falkirk Town Hall on Sunday, December 21, which will also feature Falkirk Festival Chorus and Falkirk Tryst Orchestra.

Performances take place at 2.30 p.m. and 7 p,m. with tickets, priced £12 for adults, £10 for concessions and £4 for children, available from the Steeple Box Office in Falkirk.

A free programme is included in the price and it contains the lyrics for all the carols being sung.

Falkirk Caledonia Choir meets on Monday nights at 7.30 p.m. in St Andrew's Primary School, Falkirk.
