The alarm was raised when fire broke out in two lorries in Grangemouth on Saturday evening.

Police and firefighters were called to the incident in the towns Earls Road at 6.23 p.m.

The vehicles are believed to have been in a yard occuiped by Falkirk Council roads department.

The blazes were extinguished using two hose reel jets.

The cause of the fires on the flatbed lorries has not yet been established.
