Police are hunting for the two men and woman who threatened a 69-year-old man before making off with his money and jewellery.

The incident happened at the pensioner’s house in Main Street, Plean, when the three offenders broke into the premises in the early hours of Saturday, June 6.

The first male suspect is white, around 22, 5ft 5ins, of slim build, with dark hair, dark eyes and sharp facial features.

The other male suspect is white, mid twenties, around 6ft, well built with a round face, with short, swept back sandy hair.

The female suspect is a white, around 5ft 5ins in height and is believed to go by the name of Sonia.

Detective Sergeant Scott Thomson said: “This was an appalling incident that has left the victim badly shaken. We are appealing for any information regarding this incident.

“Anyone who has any information, or saw anything suspicious on Saturday morning in the area, is asked to come forward.”
