Train services to and from Falkirk Grahamston were suspended for two hours after a lorry collided with a rail bridge near Ladysmill.

The incident happened just after 2.40 p.m. and police were quickly on the scene. There were no reports of any casualties or disruption to road traffic.

Network Rail suspended rail services on the line as a precautionary measure, but an engineer checked the bridge sustained no serious structural damage and normal services have now resumed.
