A club which has been the victim of several break-ins in recent years has been targeted again by thieves.
Bonnybridge Social Club, in the town’s High Street, was broken into at around 3.40 a.m. this morning.
An intruder was seen smashing a window at the front of the premises before entering the building.
He is described as wearing a blue hooded jacket with white sleeves, grey bottoms and black trainers.
Anyone with information regarding the break-in should call police on the non-emergency hotline number 101.
Premises manager Joyce McAusland told The Falkirk Herald that nothing had been stolen on this occasion.
“We’re struggling to keep the place open for the benefit of the community, and things are not being helped by incidents like this,” she said.
“Our insurance is already sky-high as a result of other break-ins.”
Thieves targeted the club twice in a matter of weeks in 2011, including one occasion when a safe was split open with electrical cutting equipment.
