It’s the time of year again for gorgeous young guys and gals to put on their sunniest smiles.
We have now launched our Summer Stars competition ... which could mean three families picking up great prizes from some of Falkirk’s top retailers.
The Falkirk Herald has once again teamed up with the Howgate for the Summer Stars bonny baby competition and we’re inviting mums and dads, if they have children under the age of five, to enter them in this popular competition.
There will be free photo sessions running at the Howgate until June 23.
Once the professional shots are taken at the shopping centre the photographs will be entered into the competition and published in the newspaper.
Readers will then be given the chance to cast their vote for the little ones which are their favourites and put them in with a chance of scooping the prizes.
Simply go along to the Howgate’s publicity stand outside Argos where portrait specialists Tiny Tots will take your child’s picture.
You can then choose which one you’d like to see in The Falkirk Herald and also have the option of buying some for an extra special addition to the family album.
Just like last year, there are three age group categories from 0-17 months, 18-35 months and 36-30 months.
The winners in each section will receive a £100 Howgate gift card, a £30 prize from Piccolina children’s wear and a £30 gift card from Smyth’s toy shop.
Each winner will also pick up a large framed portrait of their entry from Tiny Tots.
Howgate general manager Suzanne Arkinson said: “We’re very excited to be involved with the competition again this year.
“It’s such a popular competition, lots of people bring their babies and children along and many of our shoppers love to watch the ‘bonny babies’ having their photos taken.
“Everyone can enter, it’s completely free, and family and friends get to vote for their favourites.”
Tiny Tots will be holding the special photo sessions every day from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon - 4 p.m. on Sundays from Monday until June 23.
