Tartan Line Taxis treated the Grangemouth British Legion Over-60s Club to Christmas lunch.

Everybody tucked into a slap up meal at Beancross Farm in Polmont with their festive compliments and the firm later stunned all their guests by making a surprise donation to club funds.

Our picture shows delighted club chairwoman Anne Stevenson accepting a bumper cheque for £562.50 from Tartan Line Taxis director Louise McMeechan, left, and driver Margaret Stirling, right, on behalf of members.

The afternoon was voted an outstanding success by all there. A well established firm, Tartan Line Taxis’ radio cabs based in Newhouse Business Park operates a 24/7 service in the town and its modern fleet of vehicles includes seven-seaters and cars converted for wheelchair access.
