A group of family and friends will take on a mighty fitness challenge for a very special toddler this weekend.
Three-year-old Millie McColl, from Airth, is fighting against stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a tumour of the nervous system, and now a 50-strong group, which includes Millie’s mum Lynsey, is looking to raise funds for the Millie’s Journey charity at the Helix on Sunday.
Teams will run a half marathon around the perimeter of the Kelpies and then complete 1300 burpees – a strenuous aerobic exercise.
Organiser Colin Niblo said: “We’ve had a huge response from the local community and a number of clubs and businesses taking part.”
