The Falkirk Herald took its organ donation campaign out to the streets and shops of the town last week.

Since December, the paper has been supporting a national drive to get more people to sign up to the organ donation register and pledge to save a life.

The Falkirk Herald was in The Howgate Shopping Centre on Thursday spreading the word about the campaign and issued hundreds of information leaflets to shoppers thinking about signing up.

To take the pledge and do something amazing, call 0300 123 23 23 or text JPRESS to 61611.

Thanks go Pauline Hume, Deborah Punshon, Dr Mark Worsley, clinical lead for organ donation in Forth Valley, Brendan Clark, chairman of Forth Valley’s organ donation committee, and The Howgate Shopping Centre for all their help last Thursday.
