Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Helen Cook on door duty were Ray Buchananan and Linda McGarry, bible reading was by Ray Buchanan. A lovely duet was sung by Grace Douglas and Jean Gilmour. Tickets are still available for the social evening on Saturday, May 31, in the Bowling Club see Janette, Linda, Agnes or Ruby. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, June 1. Boxes are still in church for anyone wishing to donate to Falkirk Food Bank. Following the annual general meeting on Wednesday, May 7, a new committee was formed as follows: president, Mrs Jane Miller, secretary, Mrs Wilma Thom, treasurer, Mrs Mary McNee et al. The new season will commence on Wednesday, September.3. The summer outing to Ayr is on Saturday, June 7, and the bus leaves Slamannan at 10 a.m.
