Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald. On door duty was Ray Buchanan. Palm Sunday service this week will start at the usual time of 11 a.m. The children from the Kids Club will take part in this service. A Daffodil Tea will be held this Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m till 3 p.m. at ‘Ardtalla’, Kirkburn, Slamannan. Homebaking, raffles, crafts and tombola stalls will be available also tea and cakes will be served. Please take time to come along and enjoy a lovely tea while meeting friends and have a chat. A warm welcome is extended to all. The Holy Week services are: Monday, March 30, Slamannan; Tuesday, March 31, Wallacestone; Wednesday, April 1, Polmont; Thursday, April 2, (Maundy Thursday), Laurieston; Friday, April 3, Brightons (Good Friday). All services start at 7 p.m.
Slamannan Youngster’s Focus Group would like to invite P7-S4 young people along to an event on Saturday (March 28) in Slamannan Community Centre from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. If this is you then please come along and tell us what is good about Slamannan and what things would make it better.
