Parish Church

The service last Sunday was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald. On door duty was John Johnstone. The Bible reading was by Ray Buchanan. Once again we were privileged to the lovely singing of Grace Douglas. The first candle of Advent was lit by Lucy Whyte. This Sunday, the service will start at the new time of 11 a.m., when we will celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. There will be a service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving for the bereaved in the Bowling Club on Tuesday 9 at 7 p.m. This is an open service for those who have suffered loss in recent times or in years past. Everyone welcome. Teas will be served after both services. Anyone requiring the services of a minister should call the Rev. Monica MacDonald on (01324) 874807.
