Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald. On door duty was Linda McGarry. Christian Aid week runs from May 10-16. A collection will be taken this Sunday. A fellowship tea will be served after worship. Please bear in mind the foodbank when doing your shopping goods can be brought along any Sunday.The Kirk session will meet on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. Please note the change of date for the Friendship group meeting, it will now take place on Tuesday, May 19 at 7 p.m. The social evening last Wednesday realised the sum of £704 for the Refurbishment fund, grateful thanks to everyone who helped in anyway to make this possible. All items for the church magazine should be with Charlene Condeco by this Sunday. Anyone requiring the services of a minister should contact Rev. Monica MacDonald on (01324) 874807.

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2015 are now on sale. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk) and also in Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness), Linlithgow Post Office, Curries Printers in Broxburn and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate).
