Parish Church

The service last Sunday was conducted by Rev. Louise McClements. This Sunday’s service will be at the usual time of 10 a.m., children and apprentices meetings in the church hall at 9.45 p.m. The Banner/Craft Group meet in the church hall on Friday from 2-4 p.m. All are welcome. Sunday services are recorded and a CD is available for those who are housebound or unable to attend church. Gospel Hall

Timeout-15, the weekly Friday programme for boys and girls has its prizegiving on Friday evening at 6.30 p.m. when after choruses and a quiz, all previous pupils will receive a prize. All are invited, with parents as well. The Christian gospel will be preached on Sunday at 6.30 p.m. (note time). All are invited to come and hear this important message. The monthly Villagers’ meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2.15 p.m. when all from the area are invited. The Mums and Tots continues on Wednesday morning at 9.30 a.m., with tea and coffee on supply and free play facilities for the children. Mums are free to come and go as they please. Christian Aid

A door-to-door collection will take place from May 10-16. It is hoped that there will be a generous response to this worthy cause.
