A Falkirk man has been reported missing after being seen last in the Inverness area.

Police Scotland is continuing to appeal for information to help trace 57-year-old Alexander Sneddon, who was reported missing from his home in Falkirk and is believed to be in the Highlands heading towards Lairg.

Alexander was last seen in his white Vauxhall Corsa (registration SC64 DZV) crossing the Kessock Bridge northbound at around 3.15pm yesterday.

He is described as being heavy built with grey spiky hair and a moustache. When last seen, he was wearing dark jeans, a dark polo shirt and a red and black jacket with light grey trainers.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.
