Rock superstar Rod Stewart is coming to Falkirk next summer.
The concert at the Falkirk Stadium is one of five he will stage during a new UK tour, but is the only one in Scotland.
Following hot on the heels of his 2013 sell-out ‘Live The Life’ tour on which he not only opened Scotland’s Hydro Arena, but played four sell out shows to 48,000 people, the legendary rocker be in town on Saturday June 21.
Rod said: “I cannot wait to get back on the road and performing in Scotland in front of such wonderful fans is always a highlight for me.
“This concert falls within an exciting period for Scotland which sees it host the Commonwealth Games, The Ryder Cup and the Year of Homecoming Scotland. To be part of those celebrations makes me proud of my Scottish ancestry.”
Other dates announced this morning are: June 13 – Amex Stadium, Brighton; June 14 - Britannia Stadium, Stoke; June 18 - Somerset County Cricket Club, Taunton; June 20 - Bloomfield Road Stadium, Blackpool.
