A busy road near Forth Valley Royal Hospital will be closed on Thursday night.
Network Rail has been carrying out bridge repairs at the Inches roundabout at the top of Bellsdyke Road, with a single lane and temporary traffic lights in place there until the New Year.
But the company has just announced the road will close totally from 10 p.m. on Thursday to 7 a.m. on Friday.
The closure is to allow for utilities work to be carried out.
A Network Rail spokesman said: “The timing of the closure should ensure minimum disruption for drivers, but there will be more significant works here later in the year.”
