Residents of a Larbert housing estate are worried that a bus service they rely upon could soon be withdrawn.
Kinnaird Village is currently served by the 59 bus, but the future of the route is under review.
The service was one of several that operators First announced last year was no longer economically viable.
It has since been funded by Falkirk Council, which is about to review services.
Local councillor Steven Carleschi met residents on Tuesday to gauge concerns.
He said: “Many constituents in Kinnaird Village rely on this service to get to work, attend medical appointments or simply do their shopping as currently there are no facilities in Kinnaird Village and the nearest bus stop is 25 minutes walk away.
“This is a well-used service, that’s why I worked with local residents to get it in place, and to take it away when there is no cost saving to the council is madness.”
