Redding Church

The Congregation welcomed Lorna Duncan back to the Pulpit on Sunday. The sermon Lorna preached was ‘People with Talents’ with readings by Len Kerr from Mathew 25 and Ephesians 4. Sunday’s service starts at 11.30 a.m. The Sunday Club for children over 3 years meets at the same time so come along and join in. The Guild is open to men and women and meets in the hall every Tuesday at 2 p.m. All welcome. The Sunday Club will be collecting gifts for Women’s Aid on Sunday, November 30 and December 7 only this year as this will allow time for the gifts to be distributed at the Christmas party. There will also be an opportunity to donate to the foodbank during Advent November 30, December 7, 14 and 21. If you wish to contribute to the foodbank please bring your donations along to church on these days. Mary and Joseph will soon be starting their journey from one home to another during December. Don’t forget to add your name to the list if you would like to offer them a night in your home. This allows a time for fellowship and a cuppa with your fellow worshipers so don’t miss out on this. Add your name to the list.
