Kincardine Children’s Gala Day was a huge success this year.
The community event, which took place on Saturday, saw a great turnout from locals who enjoyed the parade round the village and watched the crowning at Burnside Park.
And, despite terrible downpours of rain in the run up to the gala, the wet weather stayed away to allow everyone to enjoy themselves.
Craig Russell, secretary of the Gala Day Committee, said: “It was a very good event and everyone seemed to enjoy it. And we were glad the rain stayed away.”
