Braveheart Walks
Meeting at Polmont station by the bowling club to start our walk for 7 p.m., this hour walk takes in the beautiful scenery of the Union Canal. Come along and enjoy some evening fresh air with our friendly walkers and Walk Leaders. For more information please call (01324) 673703.

Old Parish

On Sunday, morning service will be conducted by Rev. Donald Scott at 11 a.m. Choir practice at 9.45 a.m. Prayer meeting in the vestry at 10.30 a.m. Youth Church to meet in the Session House at 11 a.m. Creche in the Fellowship Room at 11 a.m. On duty are Susan Higgins. Duty for Reading will be D Sheenhan and Prayer will be P Thomson, Flower Distributor is E Wood, Flower donation by M Struthers. ACTs duty will be I Thomson & E Wilson. Car Treasure Hunt - this event will take place tomorrow (Friday) leaving from the Church Hall car park between 6.30 and 7.30 p.m. Cost is £5, primary school children and younger free and includes a light supper afterwards in the Hall. If you would like to take part please speak to a member of the fundraising committee so that we can make catering arrangements. The Lunch Bunch will be taking a rest during the school holidays, last orders will be on June 18. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Lunch Bunch this year and we look forward to seeing you all again at the end of August.

St Margaret’s Primary School PTA is having its AGM at the school in Polmont on Tuesday, September 1 at 7 p.m. – all Welcome.

Summer Fete

Ivybank Nursing Home is having its annual Summer Fete on Saturday in the grounds from 1.30-3.30 p.m. with home baking, gifts, toys, bottle stall, bric-a-brac and face painting for the children. Teas will also be available.
