Old Parish

After a most successful holiday club with an average of over 30 children attending each day, last Sunday’s service was for the young children returning to school this week. There was a wonderful buzz in the church and the service started with a warm welcome to all. The children reviewed what they had undertaken through the five days of the holiday club - humour, enthusiasm, play and song was clearly on display. Grateful thanks was conveyed to all who helped during the week and particularly to Keith MacDonald for his participation with the children on Sunday. Our minister David Wandrum continues to be delighted at the spirit and support that emanates from the church and its congregation. Messages included notice of the Salvation Army fundraising concert in Maddiston on Saturday, August 30 at 7.30 p.m. when all are welcome, and that the nominating committee will meet on Monday, August 25 at 7.30 p.m. Morning service conducted by our Locum Minster Rev.
