Protestors battling against rising fuel costs gathered outside a petrochemical giant.
The group, calling themselves United Against Rising Fuel Costs, held a peaceful demonstration outside Ineos for two hours in Grangemouth last Friday night and are set to hold a similar protest later this week.
Group spokesman Mark Ayre said: “We had about 22 people - not too big a turnout, but more than I was expecting. We got our point across to the government we are not prepared to take these rising fuel costs any longer.
“It’s getting beyond a joke and families are struggling to afford anything these days.”
