Pet of the Week: Patch the Staffie

Patch is looking for a home he can call his own

Animal Welfare experts are still looking for a home for Patch, a four-year-old Staffie at Dogs Trust West Calder, near Livingston.

Patch is an active wee dog who likes to to go for long walks on a long lead so he can have a root around in the long grass and enjoy all the interesting smells. He loves his toys, especially rope ball toys which he likes to either parade around with or sometimes bring back for you to throw for him.

He loves cuddles and affection but has obviously had a sad background as he is wary of people at first and takes a little time to trust them.

Patch wants a quiet home with a garden to investigate. Patch is vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice for the rest of his life.

If you can offer Patch or any of the other 60 dogs a home, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.
