Maddiston’s Linda Thomson and Douglas Brodie are delighted with their two-year-old dog Casey, a cross Collie with a bit of Huskie in him.
They got him from Glasgow’s Dog Trust last year, after he won Linda over with his sad eyes and bouncy personality.
Linda said: “Our last dog was a rescue dog and we had him for 16 years and he was lovely.
“Casey wasn’t the type of dog I was looking for but he had a nice look about him, and it just made him stand out.”
Casey’s now made himself at home, loves long walks, playing in water, and squeaky toys.
But most of all, he likes lots of love and attention.
Linda said: “He’s a lovely wee character and a bit of a mummy’s boy.
“He really playful, and loves to hide chew toys and things.
“He’s got great qualities.”
