There’s no doubt about who rules the roost in Jonathan McDonald’s home - it’s his one-year-old Chihuahua Boss.
“I love his eyes and the way he’s so hyper sometimes,” said Jonathon, who has been looking after Boss since he got him in Glasgow as a puppy.
When he’s not pounding the pavements on his walks, Boss gets up to some pretty strange and funny things. Jonathan said: “He stands on his back legs and acts like a meerkat and when he’s drinking at his water dish he sticks his back legs up in the air.”
Jonathan recommends Chihuahuas as a breed because they are friendly wee chaps, good with children and easy to look after when compared to larger dogs.
