Have your say

Catching up with Falkirk’s four-legged friends.

WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Holly.

HOW OLD ARE YOU? Three years old.

WHAT’S YOUR BREED? Cross breed.

WHERE ARE YOU LIVING AT THE MOMENT? The Dogs Trust in West Calder.

WHY ARE YOU THERE? I’m in need of a new home.

WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE? I’m looking for an experienced owner to help build my confidence. Once I know you I am very affectionate, loving and friendly. I love my family and always try to protect them. I tend to guard the house and garden and sometimes act defensively when people approach. I love being with people and find it difficult to be on my own so am is looking for a home where somebody will be at home for most of the day.

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU NEED FROM YOUR OWNERS? I have a very sweet nature. I’m very sooky and have a playful personality. I enjoy the company of other dogs but can sometimes be a bit boisterous with them. I love nothing more than to snuggle up to you after a long day. I desperately try to please and am always trying to cheer you up if you’re feeling a bit down. I love getting my belly tickled and scratched behind the ears.

ANYTHING ELSE? Holly is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice. If you can offer Holly or any of the other 60 dogs a home, please contact the centre direct on (01506) 873459.
