Support Group

A support group for people bereaved by suicide meets on an informal basis on the last Monday of each month from 6 to 8.30 p.m. at FDAMH in Falkirk’s Victoria Road. The group welcomes everyone who has experienced the loss through suicide of a person close to them – family, partner or friend. The group facilitators have experience participating in and facilitating groups and are experienced counsellors. For further details about the group contact Neil Sowerby on (01324) 671000.

Fine Arts

The next lecture from Stirling Decorative and Fine Arts Society is ‘Frank Llody Wright’ and will be held next Thursday, May 21. Lecturer Anthea Streeter studied Decorative and Fine Arts in London and then at Harvard where she developed an interest in American design. Her special interest is 20th century architecture and design. The society hosts a series of monthly lectures at the Albert Hall in Stirling from September to June as well as visits, study days and tours. For more information website http://stirlingdfas.org.uk.
